- 60 ml Eden Genever
- 60 ml boiling water
- 1 tsp demerara sugar
- Lemon peel, for garnish
Instructions
- Heat up two metal mugs or mixing tins by filling them with hot water for a minute, then discarding the water.
- Add the Eden Genever and demerara sugar to one of the mugs/tins.
- Ignite the mixture with a lighter or match.
- Once the mixture is on fire, slowly pour the boiling water from one mug/tin to the other, back and forth, creating a flame that jumps between the two vessels. Be careful not to spill or splash the hot liquid.
- Continue the pouring process for about 20-30 seconds, until the flame dies out.
- Strain the mixture into a warmed glass.
- Express the oils from a lemon peel over the top of the drink.
- Use the lemon peel to garnish the cocktail.
- Serve and enjoy!
